MAYOR CONGRATULATES LOVELOCK
Following on the cablegram published yesterday morning stating that J. E. Lovelock, the New Zealand Rhodes scholar, had won the Oxford University Mile Race, tjie mayor (Mr R. S. Black) cabled the following message to Lovelock: “Heartiest congratulations. Dunedin is proud of you.”—R. S. Black, mayor.
