Experts report that if the bottom of L’Atlantique is undamaged.it will ba worth while repairing her at a cost of £2,300,000, or reconstructing her at a cost of £2,470,000. If the idea is rejected they recommend that the hull ba placed at the disposal of the navy for: experimental purposes and then sunk.
