This game, which was set down to be played ;; on Logan Park No. 4, was unable to be ' i resumed, owing to the state of the wic- ’■ ket, and was thus drawn. ;l Grange replied to Carisbrook’s 218 with 225 for the loss of six_ wickets, scoring a win on the first innings. A. -■ R. Knight gave a chancelcss exhibition for 117, and Chettleburgh played a very sound knock fQr 32 not out, C. Elmes making 36. University scored a . two-point win : Ugainst Albion, putting together 222 in reply to Albion’s 150. For University r K. Uttley made 53, and A. K. Tbbotsbn 50. For Albion R. Silver took four for 46 and J. Shepherd three for 61. ' Kaikorai and Christian Brothers provided an exciting finish. Christian V Brothers made 217 ton the first day of play, and Kaikorai responded with 211, ;i the Brothers winning by 6 runs on the first innings. Alan Holden did not ' give a chance in making 107 for Kaikorai, while M'Gregor mad© 36.
