CHRISTMAS PARTY AT REGAL

Pleasure seekers have of late been spending many enjoyable evenings at Dunedin’s most popular amusement resort, the Regal Skating Rink, and they have enjoyed _ this truly clean, healthy, gloom-chasing sport that fascinates all. A bumper attendance is expected this evening, vyheu the rink’s third, and what promises to be the biggest, Christmas party will be held. Appropriate prizes for the best-dressed lady, most originallj v -dressed lady, best poster costume, most comical man’s costume, and best-dressed man will be awarded. Streamers, balloons, chariot racing, push-cart racing, and heaps of other novelties will be included in the programme. At 9.30 a glow-worm exhibition in darkness, in conjunction with a spinning wheel of fireworks, will be given by the three wonder girl midgets, and should certainly prove to be the most novel and the prettiest sigut ever witnessed in any rink in the dominion. Reserves being free, patrons are advised to apply early and be sure of a pair of rollers. The management advises all persons wishing to spend a very enjoyable and novel evening to attend this carnival. Hie carnival will end at midnight. All children wishing to enter for the crayon colouring competition will receive a picture of the rink by applying at the office.
