ANNUAL MEETING At the annual meeting' of the Mornington Concert Orchestra Mr E. E, : Nicolson , presided over a fair attendance, ; , , The annual report revealed niat playing members now numbered eighteen.The attendance had been remarkably, good considering the weather conditions. Various changes had taken place with regard to the personnel of the orchestra, but the vacancies had been filled, and once again the orchestra had almost a ful} contingent. The success of the orchestra . was due to Mr Harold Riddle’s untiring efforts as conductor. The. balance-sheet showed a credit of £4. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. ' The following office-bearers, were elected: —Conductor. Mr H. J. M/ Riddle; librarians, Messrs H. French and R. Wilson; secretary and treasurer, Mr E. S. W. Thomas; .committee— Messrs Riddle, French, and Thomas, Masses Kennedy, Smith, Riddle; auditor, Mr G. M. Craig ; president, Mr b, Lawrence; vice-presidents-r-Sir Charles Statham, Messrs R. Jackson, A. Turner, B. M. Sparrow,’E.E. Nicolson, A; G. Osborne, Inglis'Wright, M. Haig, J. W. Patton, W. B. Taverner, G. M, Thomson, and Major Fleming.
