FLOODS IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA MAN DROWNED WHILE GROSSING GREEK Press Association—By Telegraph-Copyright PERTH, December 20. (Received-December 20, at 10.5 a.m.) Following very heavy rains, parts of East Kimberley, Gascoyne, and Murchison districts are flooded. Numerous washaways occurred, and a train .was derailed near Meekatharra, where the water ran 4ft over the line. The engine sank Into the mud until the water entered the fire boxes. Traffic was disorganised. A man was drowned while attempting to cross a flooded creek.
