PERSIAN OIL CONCESSION
REPLY TO BRITISH NOTE CMtWU ACTION JUSTIFIED Press Association.—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, December 14. The Teheran Government, replying to the last British Note, says it considers that Tho Hague Court is not competent to examine the oil dispute, and reiterates that cancellation of the D’Arcy concessions is justified. The reply threatens to bring to the notice of tho League of Nations alleged threats of pressure by tho British Government, which arc encouraging tho oil company to resist payment of royalties and income tax. A new agreement is suggested for safeguarding Persian interests.; DISPUTE REFERRED TO LEAGUE GENEVA, December 14. (Received December 15, at 11 a.m.) The Persian Government has instructed its Minister to refer the oil dispute to the League.
