PORT CHALMERS SCHOOL Once more the children of the daily Bible reading class of the Port Chalmers School assembled in the Congregational Church for the annual prize distribution. This is the twenty-third year of the class since its inauguration, and the Rev. Mr Grant has been connected with it all the time, a record of which he is justly ptroud. However, through failing health he feels that he cannot carry the burden any longer. The Rev. Gilman Dunn gave an interesting address on the value of Scripture teaching to the children. He also referred to the indebtedness of the people of Port Chalmers to Mr Grant’s faithfulness during those years. The following is a list of the prize winners:—■ Primary Department.
