FLIGHT TO CAPE TOWN
MRS AMY MOLLISON'S VENTURE Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 8. (Received November 9, at 11.50 a.m.) Mrs Amy Mollison has completed arrangements to fly to Cape Town. She leaves Lympno shortly after midnight to-night if the weather is suitable. She hopes to beat Mr Mollison’s record.
The Air Ministry told her that it was unable to induce France to waive the regulation requiring trans-Sahara flyers to deposit £1,300 for the cost of possible search and salvage by military aeroplanes.
