TO-NIGHT'S SWIMMING CARNIVAL
One of the outstanding features of the swimming carnival at the Municipal Maths to-night will ho the great novelty sketch. ' Crossing the Lino,' to be put on by the sailors of H.M.S. Diomede. They will also take part in a 3d l-3ydf race. A 50yds invitation scratch race has also been included on the programme, and the starters will include such champions ns A. T. I l ’. Stokes and D. H. Symos (Canterbury), Walter Jarvis, and Reg. Geddcs. Diving novelties, water polo, breaststroke races, under-water swimming, and many other attractions have also been arranged,
