FREE STATE GOVERNMENT'S BILL Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright DUBLIN, October 21. The Dail, by 68 votes to 49, read for the second time a Government Bill providing wounds disability pensions for those who fought on the Republican side in the civil war. Mr F. Aiken (Minister of Defence) said that the British set themselves out to start a civil war and unfortunately succeeded. He claimed that the Bill would be a real step towards national unity. The scheme would cost £30,000 in 1933.
