SAILORS ON SKATES

Tliis evening a hockey skating team from the H.M.S. Diomede will meet an Otago representative team at Murray’s Rink. The hoys in blue are reported to have a fine team, having played and defeated some of the best teams in the various New Zealand ports. The team to represent Murray’s Rink has not been defeated, so an interesting exhibition should be witnessed. Besides the hockey match a speed test will be held, when the sailors and the local boys w'ill race over a half-mile course. Several other compotitions will be held, and an interesting evening is assured. Next week the rink will he open only on Friday eveni ing, Saturday afternoon and evening.
