MORNINGTON METHODISTS
During the past few weeks the Mornington Methodist Church has been running a ‘ Pageant of Olympia/ and, in order to assist the basketball candidates, a concert was held in the Sunday School Hall last evening, a large audience being treated to a thoroughly enjoyable programme, which was in the hands of the Dunedin Sunshine Entertainers. -Many prize winners at the recent competitions festival were amongst the performers, and the singing, dancing, and elocution were of a high standard. Following were the items contributed;—Dancing items Miss Doreen Wheeler’s party and Miss Gwen Webster's party; minstrel troupe items, Miss Brook’s party; vocal solos—Miss Clancy, Masters Henry, Robinson, and Kane; instrumental selections—Bliss Smith, Blasters Hornal, Henderson, Kane, Wood, Rowlett, and Lawrence; elocutionary items, Blaster Davidson ; solo dancing, Blisses Todd and Atkinson. The accompanists were Blisses Smith and Henderson and Blrs Blontague.
