The excavating of the Viking settlement, Haithabu, on the Baltic coast near Schleswig, is to be begun immediatley under the direction of Professor Schwantes, bead of the Kiel Museum.Many interesting finds from the days of the Vikings, and also from the Bronze Age, have already been made there.
