Mr William Taylor travelled to Christchurch by the mail train this morning. Mr A. Ibbotson left for Christchurch to-day on a short business visit. Messrs John Brown, W. W, Mulholland, H. C. B. Withell, and A. R. Jordon, who attended the conference of the Rural Intermediate Credit Board and Rural Intermediate Credit Associations in Dunedin yesterday, left for their homes by the north express this morning. Mr C. Blackman, town clerk of Port Chalmers, in response to an application for the position of town clerk of Nelson, has been asked to personally interview the Nelson Council, and he left this morning for there. Mr Joseph Szigeti, Prince Nikita Magaloff (Paris), Mr Hugo Larsen (Sydney), Mr T. F. G. Wise (Wellington), and Mr A. E. Armstrong (Christchurch) are the latest guests at the Grand Hotel.
