SUPERANNUATION.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Is. it not incumbent on those who are advocating a systematic cut in Government superannuations in New Zealand to show to what cxent, if any, such has been done in other countries under Government schemes and under private ones? Also in New Zealand we havo many private superannuation schemes subsidised by employers, such as banks, insurance companies, etc. To what extent, if any, have the benefits to existing superannuitants been reduced in these? —I am, etc., M.
