‘MYSTERY RANCH ’
WESTERN DRAMA FOR STRAND The new programme at the Strand Theatre to-morrow will be beaded by George O’Brien's latest Western drama, * Mystery Ranch,’ in which the popular outdoor star is supported by Cecilia Parker. ‘ Mystery Ranch ’ tells the story of an educated leader of a gang of cattle stealers who is obsessed by a strange desire to kill, not only his enemies, but any living thing that in any manner displeases him. He holds captive a beautiful girl whom he has threatened with death unless she consents to marry him. How George O’Brien, as a young ranger, attempts her reesue; how ho falls in love with her, and how he clashes with her captor ami his renegades, form the basis of this intriguing screen play. Cecilia Parker, who played opposite O’Brien in ‘ The Rainbow ’frail,’ portrays the leading feminine role, and others prominent in the cast are Charles Middleton as “ The Killer,” Noble Johnson, Forrester Harvey, Charles Stev ens, Boy Stewart, and Buss Powell.
