• MYSTERY RANCH ’ FfR STRAND Tlio new programme at the Strand Theatre on Friday will be headed by George O’Brien’s latest Western drama, ‘ Mystery Ranch,’ in which the popular outdoor star is supported by Cecilia Parker. • ‘ Mystery Ranch ’ tells the story of an educated leader of a gang of cattle stealers who is obsessed by a strange desire to kill, not only his enemies but any living thing that, in any manner, displeases him. He holds captive a beautiful girl whom he has threatened with death unless she consents to marry him. How George O’Brien, as a young ranger, attempts her rescue; how he falls in love with her, and how lie clashes with her captor and his renegades, form the basis of this intriguing screen play. Cecilia Parker, who played opposite O’Brien in ‘ The Bainbow Trail,’ portrays the leading feminine role, and others prominent in the cast are Charles Middleton, as “The Killer,” Noble .lolmson. Forrester ■ Harvey, Charles Stevens, Roy Stewart, and Russ Powell.
