CORPORATION NOTICES, GREEN ISLAND BOROUGH COUNCIL, NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF SPECIAL ORDER. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Green Island Borough Council, at a Special Meeting convened for the purpose and held in the Council Chambers, Green Island, on Tuesday, the 30th day of August, 1932, passed the following Resolution by way of Special Order authorising ' the Raising of a Special Loan of £1,150 —viz.: — That it be and is hereby resolved by the Green Island Borough Council so that this resolution may be confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the Council and operate as a Special Order as follows: — 1. That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,” the said Council doth raise a Special Loan of £1,150 for the purpose of paying off the Antecedent Liability Loan of £1,300 raised in 1922. 2. That the security for the interest and repayment of the Loan of £1,150 bo a special annually recurring rate of One Penny Farthing (lid) in the Pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Green Island, comprising the whole of the said Borough. 5. That the term of the said Special Loan be thirteen (13) years from the First Day of October, 1932. 4. That the provision for the repayment of the said loan of £1,150 be that the said loan shall be repaid by annual instalments of principal not less than Fifty Pounds (£SO) during the first three years, and of not less than One Hundred Pounds (£100) during the last ten years, of the currency of the loan, or until the loan is fully paid off. 5. That the said Special Loan be raised by the issue of Debentures under ‘‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,” and that each such Debenture shall bear interest at the rate of Five and a Quarter (51) per centum per annum, payable half-yearly on the First Day of October and the First Day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until such loan is fully paid off. 6. That the Corporate Seal bo affixed to all such Debentures, and that such Debentures bo signed by the Mayor and countersigned by the Borough Treasurer. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the said resolution will be submitted to a Special Meeting of the Green Island Borough Council, to be held on TUESDAY, the 27th day of September, 1932, at 8 o’clock p.m., for confirmation as a special order.
