ST. PATRICK'S CLUB The official opening of the St. Patrick’s Club was held on Saturday, there being a largo attendance of members and friends. The President of the chib (Mr IV. Lovell), in declaring the season open, wished members a successful and enjoyable time, and hoped that the cordial relations which had existed between the committee and members in the preceding season would again be in evidence. The president of the Otago Association (Dr Aloodie) wished the chib a successful season, and asked for the club's assistance in the playing off of postponed matches in the respective grades. Other speakers wore the Rev. Father Fahey and Air G. Black. The members and the visitors wore then entertained at afternoon tea by the ladies of the committee.
