(6.15 p.m.), 3,151 tons, Brisco, for Port Phillip for orders. Waiinii, s.s. (6.15 p.m.), 1,633 tons, Howie, for Lyttelton and Wellington. Gale. s.s. (6.30 p.m.), 567 tons, Davies, for Wanganui via ports. Poolta, s.s. (11 p.m.), 1,6/5 tons, HodiPnoH', for Napier and Gisborne via ports.

Tlie Kaiinai cleared the Lower Harbour yesterday afternoon for Greymouth. She emptied out some of her coal cargo on to the Broxtou. After recommissioning, tlfc Kaikorai sailed last evening for Port Phillip for orders. . . , ' The Gale got away last night for Wanganui via ports, and the Orepuki is duo in on Friday from Wellington to load for Picton and Wanganui via ports. To complete discharge of her Australian cargo, the Wainui sailed last evening for Lyttelton and Wellington. Late last night the Poolta sailed for Napier and Gisborne via the usual ports. The Waipiata arrived this morning from Auckland via ports to discharge cargo. She is to sail this afternoon for Bluff, returning here on Saturday to load out that day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Holmglen is now due from Wellington to-morrow night to load cargo here. She sails on Friday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth, and Waikato. • The motor ship Port Waikato, from Sydney via ports, is due here on Friday to unload and load general cargo. She docks while in port, and sails on Tuesday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland, and Whangarei. , , , The Holmdale is fixed to load hero on Saturday for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington,, Picton, and Wanganui. The Opihi is scheduled to return to this port on July 14 to load a cargo for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion motor ship Zealandic left Lyttelton yesterday for Bluff, Gisborne, and Auckland to complete loading. She is to sail from Auckland on JiMy 18 for Loudon via Capo Horn and Las Palmas. Advice has been received by the Union Company that the Waikawa arrived at Melbourne from Wellington last Friday. She completes discharge of her Pacific Coast cargo at Sydney and Brisbane, and then goes to Fiji to load raw sugar for Vancouver. Due at Auckland to-morrow, the Bank Line motor ship Spey bank carries a cargo of phosphates from Nauru for Auckland and Wanganui. The Waipahi, which left Suva for Auckland at midday last Thursday, returned to the Island port the same evening to land a passenger who had fallen overboard and was rescued. After the man disembarked, the vessel resumed her trip. The O.S.K. Lino motor ship Brisbane Mam was scheduled to leave Moji hist Friday for Hongkong, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne. Wellington, and Auckland. She is due at Wellington on August 3. THE FERRY SERVICE. The Maori, from Wellington, reached Lyttelton at G. 50 this morning, and passengers and mails caught the south express. THE MARIPOSA. The Oceanic Company’s liner Mariposa left San Francisco last Friday and Los Angeles the following day tor Honolulu, Pago Pago, Suva, Auckland, Sydney, and Melbourne. She is due at Auckland on July 18. STORM TO DOCK. The Canterbury Steam Shipping Company’s steamer Storm arrived at Lyttelton yesterday, from Wellington and docked for cleaning and painting. She is to sail this afternoon for Blull, Dunedin, and Timaru.

THE TANKER JUNTA. The Norwegian motor tanker Biuta is reported to have left Los Angeles for New Zealand last Wednesday. MAI MO A FROM LIVERPOOL. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion steamer Maimoa is to leave Liverpool on July 16 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers. She will call at Cape Town to load for New Zealand. The Maimoa is due at Auckland about August 29. WESTMORELAND FROM LIVERPOOL. The Federal steamer Westmoreland arrived at Wellington on Sunday from Napier to discharge cargo from Glasgow and Liverpool. She is to leave Wellington to-day for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth to complete discharge. DUCHESS STEAM SHIP COMPANY. A new shipping company formed to take over the small steamer Duchess has befen registered in Auckland, states the ‘Herald.’ Known as the Duchess Steam Ship Company Ltd., the new venture has a capital of £5,000 in £1 shares. The Duhcess, 306 tons gross, after plying for thirty-two years on the Wellington Harbour, was recommissioned last , December by Messrs Watkin and Wallis, shipping and Customs agents at Auckland, to make trips from Auckland to Matiatia and Kawau Island. A few weeks ago she was laid up for the winter months, but she will resume running in October. When in oomra'issiqn the vessel is in command of Captain Wann, who was formerly of the Northern Company. ARMADALE COMING SOUTH. Running under charter to the A. and A. Line, the motor ship Armadale, from Gulf of Mexico ports and New York, left Auckland yesterday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Wanganui, and Australia to complete discharge. WAIKOUAITI DUE FRIDAY. The Union Company’s freighter Waikouaiti, from Sydney, is due at Bluff this afternoon. She leaves there tomorrow for Dunedin, where she is due on Friday morning to unload, after which she sails for Timaru, Lyttelton, and Oamaru. VESSELS IN WIRELESS CALL.
