COMPLETE SET OF BURGLAR'S TOOLS [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, July 6. A daring robbery was attempted in a city hotel this , morning. At 1.30 the licensee’s wife was awakened to find a man in the bedroom going through her husband’s pockets. Ho was chased downstairs and shortly afterwards a constable arrested a suspect, on whom was found l a complete kit of burglar’s tools. At the Police Court to-day Frederick John Murray, aged nineteen, was remanded in custody on a charge of breaking and entering and theft, and of being in possession of housebreaking implements.
