WIRELESS IN BRITAIN
RECEIPTS FROM LICENSES (British Official Wireless.) Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. RUGBY, June 15. It was stated in Parliament that the total receipts from wireless licenses for the year ended March 31 was £2,294,438. of which 10 per cent, was retained by the Post Office to cover the cost of collection and administration. The payment to the British Broadcasting Corporation from wireless license* amounted to £1,225,709.
