NEW STATUS FOR CHIEF OFFICIAL (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. RUGBY, June 14. The King has approved of the proposal that the officer who is appointed to succeed Sir Harold Kittermaster as Administrator of the British Somaliland Protectorate shall be designated Commissioner and Commander-in-Chief of the protectorate. The King has also approved of the appointment to this post of Major A. S. Lawrence, secretary to the Government of British Somaliland, who will assume the c6mmissionersbip on June 18.
