Tho overnight returns turned the defeat of tho .Squires Government into an almost complete rout. The Opposition has won at least twenty seats, and tho Government only one. One Independent has been returned. There are still five returns to come in. Lady Squires, wife of the Premier, was defeated in Twillingato. A BIG MAJORITY. ST.
