HEAVIER TAXATION IMPOSED DOLE PAYMENTS CUT DOWN Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. BERLIN, June 14. The Von Papen Government's first emergency decree imposes a crisis tax by so-called contributions to the unemployed funds, which vary according to the taxpayer’s income, from 11 to 61 per cent., and a salt tax of 20 per cent., yielding £2,000,000. Dole payments to the unemployed will bo cut to the extent of £35,000,000, and war pensions will also le reduced. It is understood that the ban on the Nazi troops will be removed by the Bavarian Premier, who informed Herr Von Papen that if he- sends a Reich Commissioner to Munich, as is proposed, the police will arrest him. DRAFT BUDGET COMPLETED BERLIN, June 14. The Cabinet has completed the draft of the Budget, which is balanced .at £410,000,000 at par, or £60,000,000 less than for 1931. PAYMENT OF REPARATIONS COMPLETE ANNULMENT TO BE DEMANDED. BERLIN, June 14. At Lausanne Herr Von Papen will demand complete annulment of reparations, but he will avoid pronouncements which would irritate France and would be likely to check an understanding between France and Germany.
