METHODIST CENTRAL MISSION
NEW YOUNG PEOPLE'S WORKER WELCOMED Last evening a good section of the congregation of the Dunedin Methodist Central Mission welcomed Sister Lenna Button, who has been appointed by the Methodist Conference to the Central Mission to undertake religious education among young people. Sister Lenna has had considerable experience in Melbourne and Christchurch, and lias undertaken district nursing and general pastoral visitation, specialising in the needs of kindergarten and in adolescence work.
Words of welcome were extended by the Revs. H. E. Bellhouse (chairman of the district) and H. Daniel (on behal fof the Bible Class Union), Mrs P. R. Chapman (on beha|f of the women of the mission), Sister Hazel (on behalf of the young people), and Messrs R. Moffatt (on behalf of the Sunday school), D. C. Cameron, and H. H. Johnson (on behalf of the trustees and other office-bearers). During the evening some enjoyable items were contributed by the Mission Choir and several individual vocalists.
