ARRIVED.—May 10. John, s.s. (8.45 a.m.), 342 tons, Kanerva, from Waikato via ports. The Poolta was delayed in working at Dunedin yesterday by the rain, and consequently will not sail before 10 o’clock to-night for Oamani, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. The John arrived this morning from Lyttelton to. unload and load cargo for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth, and Waikato. Through being held up at Bluff by had weather the Waipiata is expected to leave the southern port late this lu'torlioon now for, Dunedin, where she is duo in the morning to load. She sails from hero the same tiny for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auck-, land. The Kini was now expected to clear Bluff this afternoon for Dunedin to discharge Westport coal. From this port she returns to the West Coast to load for Napier and Wellington. . The' Wingatui is to leave Auckland at 5 p.m. on Thursday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. The Oropuki was also; delayed here yesterday, and is to sail to-night for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Storm is due in from Bluff on Thursday morning to load at this port for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. THE FERRY SER VICE. The Rnngatira, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.45 this mbrning, passengers and mails connecting with the south express. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER,. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. advise that the Canadian Challenger is duo at Dunedin on Thursday from Canada via northern ports to put out general cargo. She is to sail on Friday lor Melbourne.
