CONCERT AT TALBOY’S HOME

A )ar"c and enthusiastic audience greeted Miss Jimsie Fraser’s concert party at the Talboy’s Horae on Saturday evening. The opening item was a community sing by the old folk of favourite choruses, conducted, by i\Xi R. Currio and assisted at the piano by Air Axel Newton. Smaill and Air C. Laurie; piano duet. Aliss H. Smaill and Air L. Peterson; Highland reel, Alisses Netty Pnllar, Maizie Scott, Daphne Allen, and Rita Warren: vocal solo (‘Longing for the Spring’). Aliss Marv White; Highland Fling, Masters Keith Cameron and Jack Miller; vocal solos, Airs M. Oliver; clog dance, Miss Jean Freeman; vocal solo (‘Shipmates o’ Mine’), Mr J. F. Montague; sword dance, Misses Alma Aletenlfe and Laura Ewart; vocal solos, Master Jack Kane; skipping rope dance, Miss Peggy Black; vocal solos, Mr J. Alexander; violin and piano, Airs Kerr, and Air Axel Newton; piano solo. Master Victor Rushatch; vocal duet. Aliss AI. White and Air J. Alexander. During the evening Unde Ben of 4ZO, Air and Mrs J. Francis Alontaguc, Airs M. Dobson, and others entertained the sick patients in the hospital wards. Air Axel Newton was official pianist, assisted by Airs J. E. Montague, and Piper Peter Davidson supplied, tho bagpipe music.
