Sir,—] was amazed in reading “ Delegate’s ” letter, to the ‘ Evening Star,’ of Friday, the Cth, that £lB good money was used to take two members of the movement to 'Wellington. What I would like to know is where did this sum conic from? Arc we to understand that the U.YV.iM. can actually throw £lB away for no good reason at all P
The public would bo well warned that any donations given to the U.AV..M. are not used to the relief workers’ advantage, but are used solely to further the cause of Communism. The unemployed worker is only a pawn in the game, and not until the O’Rourke element is ousted, from it and some sensible men take the load will the movement get anywhere. When that time comes we can truly call the organisation the U.W.M., but at tlie present time its name is the O’Rourke Workers’ Movement. —I am, etc,, W.mn Doc. May 3, ,
