To cut glass, make a notch with a file on the edge of the sheet of glass. Place a hot iron (a small soldering iron will doKon the notch for a l'ew seconds. Draw the iron very slo—ly across the glass in the direction in which it is desired to make the cut. A crack will follow the iron. The iron must be fairly hot.
