O.R.F.U. SEASON TICKETS.

TO TUB EDITOR. Sir, —We notice that the Otago Rugby Football Union advertises its season tickets at £2 10s. In keeping with the difficult times we are at present passing through, also the greatly lowered incomes of the public, and the general trend of .prices being downward, is it not the duty of the above body, as sportsmen, to lower the price of these tickets? In Christchurch they are only 30s, with the result that they are popularly patronised. In perusing the recent yearly balancesheet of the O.R.F.U. we notice the sale of these tickets fell away very considerably last season. Why ? Would it not be better for the committee to popularise the tickets by making a reasonable charge for them? We are, etc., Two Sportsmen. April 19.
