IN A SOUND FINANCIAL POSITION [Per United Press Association.] WANGANUI, April 14. The Hibernian Catholic Benefit Society conference was continued in Wanganui to-day. The Government valuation disclosed the society to bo in a sound financial position. The conference decided to increase benefits in certain cases, subject to departmental approval, to provide for the conditional payment of contributions of unemployed members, to establish or strengthen the contributory benevolent funds, and to arrange for the formation of provincial councils. „ The sick and' benefit fund benefits were increased.
