PLAGUE OF MICE
VICTORIAN DISTRICTS AFFECTED LIVE STOCK ATTACKED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, April 13. (Received April 13, at 10.5 a.m.) Several districts in Victoria are affected by a mice plague, the rodents attacking live sheep. In one case a prize stud ewe was attacked and severely bitten. One stockowner lost four horses as the result of mice getting into the chaff and hay and polluting it.
