The half-yearly installation of officers of Flower of Hereweka Rebekah Lodge, No. 31, was held on April 2, when a large number of visitors were present from the various town lodges. Sister Baker, L.D.D.G.M., assisted by G. Marshal Sister Wardrop, P.G., G. Warden Sister Dobson, P.L.D.D.G.M., G. Chaplain Sister Barr, P.L.D.D.G.M., G. Guard Sister Crookc, P.L.D.D.G.M., installed the following officers:—J.P.G., Sister Rutherford; N.G., Sister Tregonning; V.G., Sister M. Arnott; warden, Sister Seaton; com!., Sister Glenn; chaplain, Sister R. Ford; R.5.N.6., Sister Shadrach; L.5.N.6.. Sister Peppered; R.S.V.G., Sister M. Harwood; L.S.V.G., Sister Pero; 1.G., Sister Harwood. Sister Tregonning extended a hearty welcome to all the visitors, responded to by Sister Baker, L.D.D.G.M., and Sister Crooke (for Ruth Lodge), Sister Barr (Miriam Lodge), Sister Dolomoro (Linda Lodge), and Sister Sharman (Lily of Clutha). L.D.D.G.M. Sister Baker then presented Sister Shadrach with a framed P.G.’s certificate, and Sjster Shadrach suitably responded. Sister Baker congratulated the lodge on retaining the services of the secretary and treasurer, and wished the lodge a successful term. A social evening was brought to a close by the singing of 1 Auld Lang Syne.’
