Dwarf Beans.—One pint of seed is sufficient for sowing an 80ft row. Set each row 2ft apart. Runner Beans.—For a row 80ft long allow one pint of seed. The rows should be 3ft apart. Beetroot.—One ounce of seed will sow a drill 50ft long. The drills should be loin apart. Brassicas.—Seed of one ounce of Borecole (kale), broccoli, hrnssels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, or savoy will sow six square yards, for transplanting.
