CRICKET TOUR OF CANADA

Tentative arrangements have been made for an Australian cricket team to tour several Canadian cities during the coming summer (says the ‘ Sporting Chronicle : ). The Canadian Cricket Association is now negotiating with the Australian authorities regarding the matter of expenses and fixtures. The Australian team will probably be captained by, Arthur Mailey, and is expected to include eight members, of whom Don Bradman is one, of the team which toured England in 1930. The Australians are expected to arrive at Victoria, British Columbia, on June 17. A' match will bo played in Montreal on July 7,8, and 9. Plans also include subsequent matches in Philadelphia and New York.
