PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, . pursuant to tho provisions ot Section of By-law No. 19, 1927, of tho City of unedin, that tho Dunedin City Council, at i meeting held on tho 16th day of March, 32, passed tho following resolution regulats the standing time of vehicles m portion Georgo and Princes streets on Christmas ,-c, New Year’s Eve, and Thursday eveng preceding Good Friday: “ In exercise of the powers conferred by iction 3 of the City By-law No. 19 (1927), 1C Dunedin City Council hereby makes the flowing additional regulation determining e places where and the conditions under liich the particular classes of vehicles hereafter referred to may be allowed to ream unattended or attended, and the sriod of time such vehicles may so remain each place, viz. “ Section 2 of the regulations! made by the Council on the 27th day of July, 1927, is hereby extended by tho addition of the following proviso to sub-sections 1 and 2 thereof, viz.:— “ ‘ Provided that on Christmas Eve, Now Year’s Eve, and the Thursday evening preceding Good Friday, between the hours of 6 o’clock p.m. and 10 o’clock p.m., no vehicles of any description shall be allowed to remain cither attended or unattended in that portion of George street between Frederick street and the centre of_ tho Octagon and in that portion of Princes street between tho centre of the Octagon and Manso street, for a longer period than the time actually occupied in taking up or setting down passengers or goods as tho case may he.’ ” Tho foregoing regulation shall come into i-ca immediately upon the publication of is notice, and shall thereupon have tho me force and effect as if the same were corporatcd in the By-law above referred 3wn Hall, Dunedin, March 18, 1932.
