The Gale sails at 6 o’clock to-night for Wanganui via ports. To-morrow the Waikouaiti is due from Oamaru, and after discharge proceeds to Port Chalmers for annual overhaul.

The Waipahi left Wellington last night, and is due here to-morrow to load on Monday and sail at noon on Tuesday for Napier and Gisborne via ports.

The Eartigi is due at Dunedin tomorrow from Timaru to load general cargo on Monday and sail for Bluff, Launceston, and Sydney. A departure from Auckland at 10 p.m. yesterday was the, Waipiata for Dunedin and Bluff via ports. An expected arrival on March 2 is tiie Orepuki from Wanganui via ports. TANKER VOCO IN PORT, The Vacuum Oil Company’s tanker Voco arrived at Dunedin late yesterday afternoon from San Francisco, via Auckland and Lyttelton. She was berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge a part cargo of motor spirit into the company’s tanks on the foreshore. The Voco is to sail to-morrow morning for San Francisco. WAIRUNA FROM PACIFIC COAST. The Union Company’s cargo steamer Wairuna arrived at Dunedin yesterday afternoon from Pacific Coast ports, via Auckland, Napier, Wellington, and Lyttelton, and was berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge the local portion of her freight. The vessel loaded at Vancouver, New , Westminster, Powell River, Ocean Falls, and San Francisco. She sailed from San Francisco on January 18, and called at Vavau and Nukualota, en route to Auckland. Fine weather prevailed until the vessel cleared Tonga, when stormy conditions prevailed for a short period. The Wairuna will sail to-day for Melbourne and Sydney to complete discharge. COMMONWEALTH AND DOMINION LINE. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line advises that the Port Hunter, at present en route from New York to Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, has been fixed to commence Homeward loading at Wellington on March 7. She will later complete at Wanganui, Lyttelton, and Wellington. The vessel is scheduled to clear Wellington finally on March 24 for Halifax and London, via the Panama Canal. The motor ship Port Alma, at present en route from London to Suva, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth, will commence loading during discharge at New , Plymouth on March 16. She will later complete .at Nelson, Wellington, Gisborne, and Auckland. The vessel is scheduled to clear Auckland finally on April 9 for London, via Cape Horn and Dakar. The Port Wellington is due at Nelson on March 29 from Port Kembla to commence loading, and will later complete at New Plymouth, Wellington, and Lyttelton. She is scheduled to clear Lyttelton finally on April 15 for London, via Cape Horn and Montevideo.

The Port Napier is due at Auckland on March 31 from Port _ Kembla to commence loading, and will later complete at Napier, Wellington, and Porr Chalmers. She is scheduled to clear Port Chalmers finally on Apr.il 19 for London, via Capo Horn and Montevideo.

THE FERRY SERVICE. The Rangatira, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.45 a.m. to-day, and passengers and mails connected with the express for_the south, NEW ZEALAND SHIPPING COMPANY. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Tongariro, in ballast, from Falmouth, is due at Tokomam Bay on March 17 to'commence Homeward loading. She will later complete at Bluff, Port Chalmers, Timaru, and Wellington. The vessel is scheduled to clear Wellington finally on April 6 for London, via Cape Horn. The Piako, in ballast, from Cardiff,is due at Wellington on March 21, to commence Homeward loading. She will later complete at Auckland, and is scheduled to clear the northern port finally on April 8 for London, via Cape Horn. The liner Ruahine, at present en ■route from London to Auckland and Wellington, will commence loading during discharge at Wellington about; March 28. She will later complete at Bluff, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington. The vessel is scheduled to clean Wellington finally on April 23 for London. via the Panama Canal. Tne Kent, which arrived at Auckland on Wednesday from Antwerp, has. been fixed to commence her Homeward: loading at Lyttelton on March 5. Sho,. will later complete at Wellington and Auckland. She is scheduled to clear* Auckland finally on March 22 for Lou-; don, Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal. The Cambridge, in ballast from Falmouth, is due at New Plymouth on March 19 to commence loading, and will later complete at Auckland, Gisborne,, Napier, and Wellington. She is scheduled to clear Wellington finally on April 9 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal.
