SAlLED.—February 25. H.M.S. Veronica (4 p.m.), 1,200 tons, Commander H. L. Morgan, H.N., for Stewart Island. An arrival here this afternoon was the Waimarino from Auckland via ports to discharge and load out on Monday for northern ports. The Gale arrived from Lyttelton this afternoon, and sails to-morrow for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. On March 1 the Orepuki is due here' from Wellington to load for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. With cargo from Pacific Coast ports, the Wairuna 'was expected, here this afternoon to complete discharge of the New Zealand portion of her cargo before sailing for Australia. A projected departure Horn Lyttelton at 3 o’clock to-day was the Kartigi for Dunedin. She loads out on Monday for Australian ports. The Waipajii is timed to leave Wellington to-night for Dunedin direct to load out for Napier and Gisborne via ports. To-night the Opihi leaves New Plymouth for Timaru and Dunedin, and loads out on. Tuesday next for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton. Wellington, Nelson-, and New Plymouth. The Cumberland, which left Port Chalmers on January 14 for London, arrived at her destination on February 22. The Hororata left Antwerp on February 21 for New Zealand ports. She is due in New Zealand about April 12. The Union Company’s intercolonial steamer Kartigi docked at Lyttelton on Tuesday to have a number of rivets tightened. The rivets were loosened on Monday by the vessel pounding against the wharf during tho lieavy swell. The Cambridge, which left Falmouth on February 8 fof New Zealaud in ballast, sailed from Caracas-Bay on February 22. She is due ou the coast about March 19. Tho Shaw, Savill Company advises that the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Brisbane has been chartered to load products at Gisborne, Ney Plymouth, Wanganui, and Wel-

lington during March for England, Tho vessel is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on March 31 for Southampton, Dunkirk, or Honk of Holland and London - via Montevideo. . THE FERRY SERVICE. The Wahine, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.50 a.m. to-day, and passengers and 'mails connected with the express for the south. LOADING FOR LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that tho Tongariro is expected at Port Chalmers about March 25 from Bluff to load for London. She will complete loading at northern ports. PACIFIC COAST CARGO. The Union Company’s steamer Waikawa was to leave Los Angeles on February 22 with cargo from Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. She is due at Auckland on March 18. ARDENVOHR TO LOAD WOOL. The motor ship Ardenvohr, which is under charter to G. H. Scales Ltd., of Wellington,, is to leave Sydney toward tho end of this week for Napier, where sho is duo about March 2 to load wool. She will later complete at Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Bluff, and is scheduled to clear the last-named port finally about March _ 19 for DunIdrk, London, and Hull via Cape Horn and Dakar. TAMAROA’S PASSENGERS. The Taraaroa, which is due at Wellington on March 2 from Southampton, has the following 6abin class passengers on hoard:—Mr and Mrs H. Bodley, Miss B. Bodley, Miss M. TAMAROA FROM ENGLAND, A wireless message received by the Shaw, Savill Company from tho captain of the Taraaroa states that the vessel will arrive at Wellington next Wednesday afternoon from Lo'udon and Southampton. She will leave Wellington on March 5 for Auckland to complete discharge and commence Homeward loading. The Tamaroa will also load at Opua, Lyttelton, and Wellington She is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on April 6 for Southampton and London via Panama. PASSENGERS ON ORSOVA.
