SOUTH OTAGO V. EASTERN DISTRICTS Ou Saturday afternoon an interdistrict match, South Otago v. Eastern Districts (Southland), was played at Balclutha and resulted in a win for the home team by 50 runs. The weather was cold and threatening, but fortunately no showers fell. Eastern Districts batted first and were all out for 107, C. Miller (28) being the highest scorer. South Otago was more successful, and the visitors’ score was passed with five wickets jn hand. W.
