DOMINION TOURNEY CONCLUDED [Per United Press Association.] WANGANUI, January 28. The New Zealand championships were concluded to-day in fine weather. The remaining semi-final for the open championship between Mrs Tiffen and Mrs Pitcaithly, was won by the former, but in the play-off in the final A. G. F. Ross, of Christchurch, won decisively. In the first game Ross put his opponent in first, and Mrs Tiffen went to a position near the fourth corner hoop. After a little manoeuvring Ross managed to establish a break which took his black ciip to four back. After a fine long shot Mrs Tiffen made nine hoops by means of a careful break, but Ross finished the game by means of a triple peel. The second game was finished off by Ross with another triple peel. Results ; OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP. —Semi-final. — ' Mrs Tiffen beat Mrs Pitcaithly, 26-16, 26-17. —Final.— A. Gl F. Ross beat Mrs Tiffen, 26-9, 26-0. WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP. —Final.— Mrs Kibblewhito heat Mrs Simpson, 26-22, 16-26, 26-10. * POST ENTRY COMPETITION. —Final.— Mrs Lewis heat Mrs Benfell, 26-18. BILIIARDS f DAVIS V. LINDRUM LONDON, January 28. Davis has scored 22,903, including breaks of 1,424, 738, and 225; Lindrum 18,946, including' breaks of 768 and 115.
