In parts of Hungary farm labourers are paid in vegetables. Occasionally a, workman who is short of beans will ask' for an increase in his week’s celery. Wife : “ Mary says you married me for my money.” Husband: “ Don’t be* lieve her. She’s only jealous that. 1 wouldn’t marry her because she has no money.”
