CABINET VACANCY
MR R. A. WRIGHT’S NAME MENTIONED [Special to the - Star.’] WELLINGTON, January 18. . The announcement of an appoint* ment to fill the vacancy in the Coalition Cabinet may be expected early,There are indications that the leaders will strengthen the City representation in the Government, and that the new Minister will be Mr R. A. Wright, tho member for Wellington Suburbs, who last election retained his seat by a substantial majority, though surrounding areas showed- increased _ Labour support, Mr Wright was Minister of Education in the Massey Government, but this portfolio is to bo retained by Mr Masters. The probability is that Mr Wright’s principal portfolio will be Labour which will be transferred from Mr Hamilto'n. The latter is expected to become Minister of Agriculture,
