The Otago Lawn. Tennis Association’s championship tournament was commenced at Logan Park yesterday. Entries in all sections were fairly good, and, notwithstanding a disconcertingly high wind which swept the courts all day, the standard ?f play was commendabiy high. The commencement of the day’s play ,was delayed until 11 a.m. as a result of the rain that fell in the early morning.
