POPULATION LOSS OF OVER 10,000

CANBERRA, December 23. (Received December 23, at 12.30 p.m.) A steady exodus from the Commonwealth is revealed by tho quarterly estimates of population supplied by the Commonwealth Statistician. During tho year ended September 30 10,444 more people loft Australia than entered it. The natural increase was. 66,800, against an annual average increase over ten years of 76,600.
