FAILED TO EXPLODE
BOMB IN CHRISTMAS MAIL Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. VANCOUVER, December 22. (Received December 23, at 9.50 a.m.) Marion Davies (the well-known actress), on opening her Christmas mail in Los Angeles, felt something sputter and snap. She dropped the package and fled. It was found to be a perfect bomb, sufficient in strength to blow a house to pieces, but fortunately it failed to explode.
