until recently was a roadman in the employ of the Rangitikei County Council, working on the Napier-Taihape road. He is now unemployed. He was listening in at the wireless in a friend’s house, and heard his name announced ns the holder of the winning ticket. He was too excited this evening to speak to a reporter, and had not discussed even with his friends his future intentions.
