CANADIAN RAILWAYS CUT
NOT TO BE RETROACTIVE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MONTREAL. December IS. (Received December 19, at 10.30 a.m.) Tho Labour Department at Ottawa has ruled that the ten per cent, cut in wages in the railway running trades must not bo made retroactive. The Railways had announced that tho cut recently recommended in a majority report of tho Conciliation Board would be retroactive .to November 15.
