SHORTAGE IN UNION FUNDS
FORMER CLERK ARRESTED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, December 9. (Received December 10, fit 2 a.m.) A reported shortage of £IO,OOO in the funds of the Sydney branch of the Australian Tramways Employees’ Union led to the arrest of Christian Brandt, a'former clerk of this organisation, on a charge of embezzlement of £8,179.
